Manakamana Development Bank Limited has published an unaudited financial results as at third quarter of the fiscal year 2067/68.
The Manakaman Development Bank added one more branch on Sunday after inaugurating their Kumaripati branch.
According to the press statement, the bank had succeeded to post the net profit of Rs 22.1 million in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. Similarly, the deposit and lending of the bank has amounted to Rs 1.99 billion and Rs 2.15 billion during the same period.
Chairman of the development bank, Laxman Babu Shrestha, had inaugurated the branch stated the release.
The press release further stated that the development bank is scheduled to open three more branches at New Road, Dhading and Khandichaur by mid-December to meet the target of opening 15 branches within the period of current fiscal year.
Under the bank’s Manakamana Super Savings Account, customers can get up to ten percent per annum at the minimum balance of Rs. 100.
Manakamana Development Bank Limited (MDBL) has launched a new deposit scheme called ‘Manakamana Sambriddhi Bachhat’ yielding higher interest to the customers.
A press statement issued by the bank said that under the scheme, interest rate grows according to the increment in the deposit amount. The new account will give 6.5 percent interest per annum to the deposit range of Rs 1,000 to Rs 49,999. Similarly, for the depositors of Rs 50,000 to Rs 299,999 it will provide 7.5 percent interest annually. Likewise, for the depositors of Rs 300,000 to Rs 499,999 it will provide 8.5 percent interest per annum.
Account holders can avail 9 percent per annum interest in the deposit higher than Rs 500,000. Customers can open account with minimum balance of Rs 1,000.
